The Science and Technology Park “Inagro”

The Supreme Council for Science and Technology Development has adopted the Decision nr. 155 from July  7, 2008 regarding the creation of the Science and Technology Park „Inagro”, on the basis of the former scientific production unit of the Institute for the Protection of Plants and Eco-friendly Agriculture. The production infrastructure of the park includes a series or facilities located on an area of over 15 ha, agricultural land spread over 92,5 ha, as well as the branch of the former scientific production unit located in Cahul, Republic of Moldova.

The residents of the Science and Technology Park „Inagro” act in the following spheres: eco-friendly agriculture, biotechnologies in agriculture, processing of production, extension and implementation of new technologies in agricultural production, implementation of innovative technologies in the production of dark soil, implementation of innovative technologies in the storage and congelation of raw vegetables and fuits, implementation of technologies in the process of preservation, drying and sublimation; implementation of new forms and modern techniques of marketing and sales of agricultural production on the domestic and external market and others.

Following a contest, in compliance with the decision nr. 263 from December 25, 2008 of the Supreme Council for Science and Technology Development of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, the manager of the park has been designated „Agroecoprod LLC”. Currently, the Science and Technology Park „Inagro” includes 13 residents.
