The Science and Technology Park “Academica”

The Science and Technology Park „Academica” is one of the top innovation structures in Moldova, founded on the basis of the State Enterprise Experimental Unit „Aselteh”, located in: Chisinau, 5 Miorita str. Following a contest, in compliance with the decision nr. 181 from September 27, 2007 of the Supreme Council for Science and Technology Development of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, the initial manager of the park has been designated the Institute for Intellectual Property Development (Eugen Stacov, managing director). Further on, through the decision nr. 78 from April 21 of the Supreme Council for Science and Technology Development, the State Enterprise Experimental Unit „Aselteh” was assigned manager of the park (D. Cemirtan, managing director).

Following the contest within the Science and Technology Park „Academica”, there have been selected 30 residents. Among the projects approved by the Supreme Council for Science and Technology Development of ASM, the following projects in the sphere of renewable sources, energy conservation technologies, nanotechnologies, electronics, eco-friendly agriculture, food safety, informatics are to be accomplished within the park.

Currently, the Science and Technology Park „Academica” includes 24 residents.
