Innovational Brokerage Centre

The Innovation Broker Centre is a structural subdivision of the Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer which aims to facilitate cooperation among research institutions and business partners, particularly SMEs. In Republic of Moldova, the collaboration between research institutions and business enironment is a limited one. On one hand, the business environment is not encouraged in terms of tax incentives to implement the scientific achievements, on the other hand, research activity is not necessarily based on the real needs of the market. Reaching a consensus between the two parties can be achieved through the adjustment to current demand and harmonization of common interests.

Enterprises that face procedural or operational difficulties can contact the Centre for the indentification of feasibile solutions presented by institutions in the field of innovation and science in Republic of Moldova. This collaboration aims to enhance the visibility and accesibility of innovations and acquaint the scientists about the real innovation needs and demand of the business environment. The centre aims to become the place where innovation capacity will turn into successful business.

Services provided:

  • Informing/orienting towards feasible solutions;
  • Identifying profile institutions in solving the issue;
  • Identifying funding instruments for the issue;

Methods of monitoring: The Centre will monitor (for two years from the identification of the solution) through a periodic survey the problem-solving process and applicability of the achieved results on the market.

Eligible applicants:

  • Representatives of the business environment

Beneficiaries:

The Center provides technical and informational assistance for the business environment, particularly the SMEs. Also,

  • Providing services to other categories will not limit the access of beneficiaries to the Centre
  • Beneficiaries will receive information on activities and objectives of the Centre
  • Business environment representatives will benefit from direct and permanent support from the Centre in identifying the most viable solutions

The work procedure includes filling in the application form, where the applicant will highlight the main issue; the application form will also refer to the domain of activity, contact details and person in charge.
